Longview (Marriage) Retreat

Longview Retreat is a non-profit, Christian marriage and family marriage ministry located on a large working farm in northeastern North  Carolina. The founders of the Retreat, Joe and Jane Brown,  have been married for over 35 years and want to share with others how God has created the marriage relationship to be one full of love and respect between husband and wife.  Because they understand the stresses  and challenges in marriages and families, they have envisioned Longview Retreat to offer guests a quiet place for Bible study, prayer,  mentoring, restoration, recreation, and times of relaxation together as a  couple and a family.


The mission of the Longview Retreat is to strengthen 

and rebuild  the relationships within marriages and families by emphasizing  . . .

. . . the importance of allowing Jesus Christ to be the center  

of each individual life and relationship.    

The Retreat operates on the premise 

that the complete restoration of individuals' and couples' lives 

only comes when each person is in right relationship with God.
